Our History

Experience
     Our company was formed as a partnership in 1973 by owners James E. Robertson and Greg A. Vaughn. Mr. Robertson's more than 30 years experience in the field of construction together with Greg's eye for detail and perfection laid the ground work for a strong foundation on which our company was built. In 1986, Mr. Robertson retired and sold his interest in the company to his partner, Greg Vaughn. Greg is now the sole owner and president of Robertson-Vaughn Construction Co., Inc., and is active in all operations of the business.

Knowledge
    Our jobs not only profit from our years of experience, but we feel they greatly benefit from our placement of a full-time project manager on all of our major projects. This, we have found, makes our jobs run more efficiently, more productively, and more economically. Our project managers are highly qualified and experienced and because they are at the site every day, they know every detail of the project.  It is important to us that our customers have confidence in our knowledge and ability.

     Robertson-Vaughn Construction Co., Inc., is a General Contractor licensed in the state of Tennessee for the construction of residential and commerical buildings, electrical and plumbing work for buildings and structures, grading and drainage, bridges and culverts, and municipal and utility construction. We are knowledgeable in regard to all types of construction.

Skilled Craftsmen
     Our company employs some of the finest and most skilled tradesmen in the business. In our employment are carpenters, plumbers, electricians, painters, and concrete finishers. We also have a number of qualified subcontractors that work for us on a regular basis. Our job superintendents are highly qualified in their areas of construction and are on the the job to see that everything runs smoothly and in a timely fashion.
